App Settings

Configure app preferences and manage your inspection workflow settings.

The Settings screen provides comprehensive controls for customising how the app works for your specific workflow and preferences. Access settings from the main navigation menu.


Inspector Signature

Add your electronic signature to be automatically included at the bottom of all generated report documents. This provides a professional touch and helps authenticate your reports.

  1. Tap the signature area in settings
  2. Use your finger or stylus to draw your signature
  3. Tap "Save" to apply it to all future reports
  4. Your signature will appear on the final page of PDF reports

Save Photos To Media Library

Enable this setting to automatically save all photos taken during inspections to your device's photo library. This creates a backup of all inspection images outside of the app for additional security and easy access.

Storage Considerations

Saving photos to your device library will use additional storage space. Consider your device's available storage when enabling this feature for high-volume inspection work.

Template Management

Manual Template Refresh

While templates sync automatically when opening the app, you can manually refresh them at any time to get the latest updates immediately. This is useful when:

  • Your administrator has made template changes
  • You're experiencing sync issues
  • You want to ensure you have the latest template versions before starting inspections

Report Management

Mark Overdue Reports Complete

Automatically mark older incomplete reports as complete to keep your inspection list organised. This helps prevent confusion between current work and older unfinished inspections.

Remove Completed Reports

Clean up your device storage by removing completed reports that have been uploaded to the server. This frees up space while keeping your reports safely stored in the cloud.

Manage Deleted Reports

When a report is deleted, it is moved to the deleted reports list. This prevents a report from being synced to the device again, if you would like to restore the report, you can do so from the deleted reports list.

Display Preferences

Collapse Template Sections

Choose whether template sections should start collapsed or expanded when conducting inspections. Collapsed sections can help focus on one area at a time, while expanded sections provide a full overview.

Account Management

App Version Information

View your current app version and build number. This information is useful when contacting support or checking if you have the latest app updates.

Logout

Securely log out of your inspector account. This will clear all local data and return you to the login screen. Use this when switching between inspector accounts or when finishing work for the day.

Data Sync Required

If the app is uninstalled from your device, all data will be deleted.
